Lufthansa Technik AG and Spanair have further intensified their long lasting cooperation. The existing Total Technical Support TTS®-agreement for the Spanish airline’s Airbus A320-series fleet, running since 1999, was recently extended to another ten years and further adapted to meet future requirements of Spanair.

Within the scope of the Total Technical Support TTS®, Lufthansa Technik will provide Spanair with a broad range of services. The work scope for example encompasses the support with aircraft components including home base allocation, repair, overhaul and documentation as well as comprehensive services for engines of the V2500-series, from maintenance, repairs and overhauls to engineering and logistics services as well as spare engines support.

In addition to the recently extended Total Technical Support TTS®-agreement, Lufthansa Technik has in the past carried out a broad number of services for Spanair, for example support services on numerous maintenance stations and, in case of an “Aircraft on Ground” (AOG), fastest possible quick-response services carried out by Lufthansa Technik’s Airline Support Teams (AST®).
